Right after I was woken up in the morning I packed my things and we went to Aqua Spa where there's nothing else to do besides sitting in the water and doing nothing.. chatting and thinking.
We tried out all the different saunas they have there, which was about 8 different.. I don't really enjoy saunas, last time was probably more than a year ago.. if not two years ago.
Now I'm on a study-date with G for the rest of the evening.

I just got home and today I got everything done which I had planned, feels great.

Although I didn't buy the things I needed from Karnaluks because that store is really not made for me. There are sooooo many things that I could drown in there. If I have trouble choosing when I'm given more than two choices then how the hell am I supposed to choose anything there? I needed a ribbon, with some sort of ethnic pattern.

How lovely, the sun is shining today. But why does it have to be so cold?

There has finally been some events in Sweden which are of interest for those ordering summaries and transcrips from our office, so there's finally work to do..! Therefore I've been in woking-mode ever since I got to work at 8 in the morning and it also seems like 7 hours of sleep did me well because I actually feel awake. And you can't imagine how much work I've done today and the day isn't even over. After work there's three quick visits to Karnaluks, Paavli, the doctor and then I've got to pick up some things for my grandma.
After that comes the weekend.. which this time will be filled with mostly just studying for Monday and Tuesday.
It's weird, but at the moment I actually feel kind of excited.. I guess it's because I just want to get it all over with, to start a new week.

As long as the ground is covered with snow then every time a car drives on that road/parking lot down there I haven't seen even ONE car where the driver doesn't play with the handbreak.

Last nights idea to go to sleep at midnight to get six hours of sleep was bad, this morning it was absolutely impossible to get out of bed.

I saw Blue Valentine a couple of months ago and oh gosh, how much emotions it avoke. Really a great film.
But I can't get enough of this song from the soundtrack, I think I've listened to it for about 15 times straight during the past few hours. I had forgotten all about it but found it in my "favourites" on youtube a couple of days ago.

Today it's actually exactly a year since my and my ex-boyfriends relationship ended. I discovered that while looking at old pictures.
Wow, a whole year.. time flies- no doubt about it.
I thought I might meet up with him today, but it didn't go that way. Instead I hurried home to do some paperwork and then study until I fall asleep.

My cheeks are red from being outside cleaning the snow for 1,5h.

Even though I could have limited the work by just getting rid of the snow around the car and my arms were hurting by then already, but I got some kind of a boost to do something good and didn't stop until all the street until my house was done. The neighbors probably won't even notice, since they would never do anything like this.. But it's nice to see a clean road.

I woke up earlier than I would have liked today, but it was of course worth it, since I very much wanted to meet dear M while I was for this short visit in Tartu. We had brunch together and she gave me a very much appreciated late christmas present and I gave her the painting that she was ment to get on her birthday back in October.
Although we hadn't seen since September, it really felt as though we saw just a few days ago.. Hopefully she'll will come to Tallinn for a visit next week. :)

The Ides of March is a good movie, you should see it. George Clooney obiously knows how to make films and the cast is also impressive. Gosling plays the main character and he does it well, just like all the parts he has played.
Now I'm entertaining myself at work by watching all kinds of trailers and clips and interviews and visits to talkshows... Luckily there's sometimes work to do too, so I don't just sit around all day doing nothing, like it may seem.

Anyhow, the weather is causing a mess in the traffic and we'll see how tonights trip goes. Hopefully the weather will have calmed down a bit by then.

Dearest M gave me such good news earlier that everything seems a whole lot brighter suddenly! Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to bring her the painting she was supposed to get from me on her birthday in the beginning of October.. I thought the history class was interesting although at one point I felt so sleepy due to the lack of air in the little room where we sat, but it wasn't out of boredom.
First we were shown all kinds of different animal skins and furs and the variety of leather processing which was very interesting to see.
The teacher can look at a piece of leather and say exactly from which animal it comes, just by the look of it, we tried to guess and it's not easy..

Dinner went well last night if we don't count in the parkingticket I managed to get while we were eating. Awesome.
We had to go to Sushicat, beacuse that's what I'd promised. T had never been there before and when passing by each day on his way to the office and home he'd thought it looked more like a sripclub with some sort of japaneese theme. Even when we were on our way in he thought it seemed so wrong..

Without the iCal I would probably forget about 70 per cent of everything I have to do during a week. Luckily it's not very many things right now when school hasn't begun properly yet, but still. With my memory I mix up all the days and promise people all the wrong things for when I shouldn't.

Next week seems OK. I won't be constantly busy although I should be, considering the fact that I'm supposed to study at all free moments.
Might seem like very little things to do, but it takes up a whole day. Thankfully the weekend is pretty much free so far:

Since no one is home, the house is so quiet that I slept for 13 hours. I was woken up by messages on the phone several times, but I read them and pulled the duvet over the head and continued sleeping.

The first(out of 3- if I remember correctly) Friday the 13th of this year was a shitty day. I don't know, but seems as though it was bad for everyone I've talked to and it wasn't any good for me either. A lot of thinking and little action. Thankfully when the midnight came and the date changed to 14th all seemed a bit brighter. And I don't believe in Friday the 13th- but it just happened to be a shitty day.

Now it's time for the latest episode of Grey's and maybe I'll ry reading a book or articles in some magazines. Almost all of the magazines I've got are unread because I usually only look at the pictures and then put them away, even though the articles may be very interesting.

Yesterday I noticed the guy who was on the back of one of my magazines.. while telling my hairdresser about the concert tickets I got for Christmas. Unexpected:

I had the sweetest dream and I slept like a baby after last night. When I woke up about six hours after I'd fallen asleep I felt completely rested and very peaceful. G called to ask if I'd join her and her six year old brother to get some junk food at McDonald's. As always I agreed, because when she mentioned it it seemed as if that was the most brilliant idea ever. But also as usually- I regretted it as soon as I took the first bite. Then G got another brilliant idea- that I'd join them to go and watch Puss in boots at the cinema. What the hell, sure I'd go. But obviously we didn't even think that it'd be so crowed- all seats were taken and about a million kids were there with their parents. I think I enjoyed to hear the kids laughing much more than the actual movie, although it was okay. It was more interesting and adorable to hear which things the kids though was funny and which jokes they didn't understand.

Finally home after almost 24 hours away.
It was nice seeing the "old guys" from high school and having a few drinks together, making plans for our next gathering..
I talked to G a few times during the night and we decided to meet at Puudel. When I got there, I was a bit surprised to see someone very special, who I didn't expect to see. Today I couldn't be more pleased with the fact that some points got a bit clearer, thanks to the fact that we actually got to sort things out a bit.
As usual at the magic place called Puudel- the time flies more than twice as anywhere else, so the last five of us left at 8 in the morning. All in all, pleased.

M gave me a souvenir of his, to keep with me at all times. There was a photographer trying to hit on me while I was taking this picture with my iPhone, the photos I did, not by his advice, were better.

At one point E came to Protest and he ordered a round of shots for his friends and gave me one too for... as he put it: "for helping out painting the walls". He was of course talking about Hoov.

Have no idea what this green liquid actually was.

When I got home I didn't even change clothes or sit down, I went straight to it.. the famous macroons.
I haven't baked anything in a very long time, compared to when I baked a few times per week and today I suddenly felt very tempted to try and make macroons. I've heard it's not an easy task and now that I've tried it I can agree..
I ate a few and they're really delicious but they aren't as pretty as they should be. I guess I'll just know what to try and do differently next time. Believe me, even though they aren't very pretty they won't be left uneaten!

I woke up much later than planned, finished watching the last Stieg Larsson movie which I didn't watch to the end last night.. Got dressed while Skyping with G & T and had a quick breakfast. Packed a bag with things needed and drove to Kalev Spa where I swam those 1,5 kilometers which I felt i needed. I could have continued forever but I kept watching the clock and felt more and more guilty that was swimming instead of studying- which was the original plan.

When I rose on my feet after not putting the feet down for 1,5 km I got dizzy and though about when the last time was that I did any exercise. Well, it was long ago, because I can't remember when it was.

Now I feel great, only the guilt is still killing me..

Two nights in a row I've been watching the Millenium trilogy movies. I've got one left for today and that's perfect, since tomorrow I'll be dealing all the school work that has been left undone.
At the office there's very little work again, so when the radiostations play any good songs I listen to them instead of jumping straight to the news broadcasts. Like for instance P4 Västernorrland played John Mayers "Who says" a song which I love and am listening to as we speak. Ahhh...

Tripledate. T&T made very good food and we were all supposed to go to the cinema. But when the time came, no one seemed very interested in going, so instead we spent time at their place and took cabs to Von Krahl after 1am. I don't really get how it's possible that times go by so fast in good company. I mean, I arrived to the flat at 8pm and in just a moment the time was suddenly after midnight.. and ten suddenly 7 in the morning. ?!
When I woke up at noon I got to do the walk of shame through old town, luckily I had phone calls to make so I didn't have to think about it too much. A man even asked me if I wasn't cold walking in tights now that it's actually minus degrees outside.. I just smiled politely and continued my talk on the phone.

I drove my mom and sister to the airport with moms car, but what the hell, the all season tires are as useless as can be. With this snow you get stuck in every possible spot, so although I prefer driving her car I won't risk it until the snow is gone.

Afterward I picked up K and we went for a sushi-breakfast and to catch up. When we came back to the car it was almost as if we couldn't find it under all the snow.

Last night I was picked up by S with a car full of people. We went to have a bite to eat and then came the big question- what shall we do next. Well, I can never make up any plans on the spot so if I don't have anything planned ahead, I rather follow others, which means it obviously wasn't my idea to go bowling. We bowled and later played Yatzy for a couple of hours. I hadn't bowled in ages and I had never in my life played Yatzy before. It was very nice, the activities and the good company.

I was so tired last night that while watching a movie I fell asleep, then I thought I shouldn't bother trying to stay awake- instead I'll just go and get those lovely 8 hours... But. At some point I fell asleep, then I woke up by a message then the next one, then the next one, then another one, another one.. At one point I fell asleep while typing........ it must have looked hilarious. Seems I thought it was quite important to answer.
When I woke up by the alarm in the morning I didn't even understand if I was asleep or awake. Did I even sleep during the night?
I guess it's just not meant for me to sleep 8 hours per night while working, haven't gotten that luxury even once for the passed three months.

After work I went and had dinner with my sister and while driving home afterwards, I was near to falling asleep behind the wheel. Uh, how I don't like to drive these 26 km home.
When I'm not tired and not in a hurry, then it's OK, but how often does that happen? Almost never.

Oh my gosh, I just did the totally wrong decision to begin my day by checking out a blog which I hadn't read in a while. I was hit with a million photos of white beaches in Africa, tanned people and gorgeous hotel rooms.

Summary 2011

I have so many photos that I don't know where to start, but I guess from last years New Years Eve party and then try to get some key points.. this one will be hard.

The "hooker-party".

Cheese and wine and online shopping, while the guys made business-plans and played PS3.

M came to visit for the last time while I still lived in the city. Lovely M.

School stuff. Nice Osturalli-bag in a prettier form, right?

I paid my visit to Tartu in the end of February.

Friends came over for a "moving-out party"... from me and my ex's apartment.

Less than a week later I was back celebrating my birthday with friends.

Yet more schoolstuff.. I remember how my fingers hurt from all the wires and hot glue.

When the weather got warmer in April we went for long beach walks with K. Ah, can't wait for more of those.

Easter, seems I had much time or I just felt inspired. My sister did this first egg..

Last day of April we were in Valkla. It was cold as hell, but- there is no but- a short dress with converse and a cardigan.

The weather was gorgeous.. and who knew the hot summer was right around the corner.

Refusing to sit at home and be sad I went on every event where my friends went, this was some student thing.. It was me and K and T.

A few days later in Kunsträdgården in Stockholm, 10.05.11. The summer had pretty much arrived.

I helped out one night at the fashion-exhibition.. afterwards we went out and this was the night I stopped being sad and became awesome instead.

More school...

We had planned to enjoy the summer weather in the end of May having a picnic out in my garden but got trouble with the car. Thanks to the wind I accidentally showed my butt to those passing-by too. But it was fun.

Finally everything was fixed and all those who came had a great evening. The mosquitoes were killing us slowly, but we still took a walk to the beach and saw the sunset.

Late nights

Some mornings I got to wake up with this view outside the window.

The summer in Hoov had already begun, before they opened the yard I had been helping out with the painting of walls in the rooms and took part of some pre-party on that backyard before they opened and so it went.... quite many summer nights were spent there.

Harjumägi was also one place were we often ate our lunch in the beautiful weather.

One time out of two I slept in a tent during 2011. Surfilaager.. getting away from Tallinn.

Folk 2011. Second time in a tent. I think I hate sleeping in tents, everything hurts and I feel extremely disgusting the day after.

When I decided it's time to cut off my hair

Tartu for the second time, 7 months later(September). Spontaneity rocks.

M in Tallinn, she came to see what I'd been talking about for so long and luckily she saw it. Picture taken at the Plektrum festival.

New work- new colleagues. Taco-night at E's apartment.

Hah, the one-piece... yes. What can I say, me and my sister.

In November there was very much to do in school, but we found time to help out att the Tallinn Dolls studio too.

December was the Must Puudel-month. We spent soo much time there.

..A lot of time out with these brothers, my colleagues.

And then I spent a week in Stockholm. It was great to be there for a change and we met with A.. who used to be one of my best friends when I lived there. Even though we hadn't talked in maybe... two years, it felt like it was just a week ago. Just a lot of news to talk about.

Well.. and to top it off, there has been these last couple of weeks...

Earlier G asked me if I knew the name of a song and I googled the lyrics I could remember from Friday night and Saturday morning(yesterday) and found it. I guess this will be another song for me which will be attached to a specific memory. As long as it stays a good memory I don't mind...

Farewell 2011

I'm trying to figure out how to do the 2011 summary, but I can't, so I'll just throw something together.

First it all began with a New Years Eve which was OK, but failed in the end, in my opinion maybe because I had quite high expectations, like every time.. At midnight I stood with a group of girls from the previous party, who I didn't know, next to Solaris and saw the fireworks with a bottle of champagne in my hand. I saw my boyfriend who I would have wanted to share that moment with right before and after midnight.
After 2011 began my health wasn't the best, I lived a very housewife-life with work, school, dinner, cleaning and boyfriend. Not much time left for anything else. Then came the breaking point in the end of January when it all ended... I had a rough few months before the end of May, when the sun came out from behind the dark clouds again. The changing point. Then came the nuts Annette who began partying too much, but through that I learnt a whole bunch of new things about life, got many new acquaintances and friends. And then came the summer, when I didn't work nor study, just lived life with those friends and acquaintances... Until reality hit me in the end, when I had to start working somewhere. None of the bigger plans for the perfect job went trough, instead I became an office rat. But I enjoy this office, I've got new colleagues who I see very often after work and the job in general is educating.
Next up came more craziness for a couple of weeks and then came the day before I went home to Stockholm for a week(this trip from where I came back last week) and now here I am, so much has been going on during this short period of time.. It's all been so fast that I don't really know what to think of it. But I think I'm in general happy right now, we'll see how this all goes.
Generally ever since May everything has only gotten better and better, life has become more exciting and here I am, a bit of unfinished things in school, due to the fact that I've put other things before those, but hopefully I'll get all that done during the first month of this year. Then.. I hope this year will become even better that 2011. I got so much out of last year. And here's the point where I'd like to thank everybody who has been a part of it. Really, thank you!

Last Friday of the year

Two days ago, on the last friday of the year 2011, we were invited to S' house in Neeme. After a lot of buts be finally got there and had an excellent night. It probably couldn't have been any better change to good old Tallinn.

Me and the girls did some fortune telling with the Indiana Jones cards. It got a bit hysterical at moments. Only yes or no questions were allowed, we asked the cards everything.

At some point all of us, a group of more than ten, walked to the local tavern where the men played poker.

When we got back everybody was so hungry that soup, french fries and sausages were made.

The morning began at different times for all of us, but everybody was out of bed by 1:30 pm. Breakfast, coffee and a glimpse of Breakfast at Tiffany's on TV. And then came the snow.. the first real snow which still lies around.

What is up with the weather again? Who ordered another storm?
On my way to work this early morning it seemed as though the world was about to go under. First the extreme wind, then the branches on the roads and the fact that I only saw three other cars driving, made it seem creepy. I mean, I know it's still holiday, but it all looked very deserted. Even the office building was all dark and instead of cars and people I see trash flying around outside the window.

I've already forgotten about Christmas.

Doing nothing- feeling useless

I've been literally doing nothing all day, first I slept for forever, then continued the food orgy from last night and did nothing good.
I hate these days. I feel completely useless, although I've got enough rest to do anything at this point.
Last night:

My younger cousin didn't think it was interesting enough to sit behind the table all night, so he found my Scrabble and tried to win me.

B didn't quite get why I ate chocolate and didn't share with him.
